Inasmuch Foundation is happy to announce the return of the Inasmuch Community Fellowship! (New name, same great program). We are looking for intelligent college students interested in nonprofit work as well as wonderful nonprofits to host them. General details are provided below as well as instructions for applying.
The Inasmuch Community Fellowship embeds you into a non-profit organization in Oklahoma City. Once accepted into the program we will work to match you with a nonprofit that fits your interests and skill set. Each year we partner with new organizations to participate in the fellowship program based on interest. In the past, Allied Arts, Boys and Girls Club, United Way, ReMerge, Oklahoma City Museum of Arts, Lyric Theatre, Oklahoma City Educare, and the Oklahoma City National Memorial, just to name a few, have hosted Community Fellows. If you know of an organization you think you’d enjoy working for, be sure to include it in your application. Each host utilizes our fellows differently and therefore expect to perform a wide range of tasks dependent on your placement.
First-year Community Interns will also be registered in the Greater Grads: Intern OKC program organized by the Oklahoma City Chamber. Intern OKC includes an afternoon kick-off and four weekly lunches where interns network with peers, develop resources for the transition from college to career and discover why Oklahoma City is the perfect place to live, work, and play. www.greatergrads.com
Please complete the online Application and email the most recent copy of your resume to Tyler Tokarczyk at firstname.lastname@example.org . The deadline for applications will be 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 27th, 2015.
Need help this summer for a fundraising event, outreach project, or just an extra hand but can’t find room in the budget? Apply for an Inasmuch Community Fellow. We will provide a highly qualified college student to work for you for 12 weeks this summer. The only thing we ask in return is for you to provide them with a worthwhile experience and allow them to attend lunches and events hosted by Inasmuch.
New this year, we are asking potential host organizations to fill out a short application. We’ve found our best fellowship opportunities usually come with host organizations that have a specific project or purpose in mind for their fellow(s). The application will help us match the interests and skill sets of our fellows with the roles you have in mind. The deadline for applications will be 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 27th, 2015.
