Board of Directors
Robert J. Ross currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Inasmuch Foundation. The Foundation was founded by Edith Kinney Gaylord in 1982. He previously was employed as an Attorney with the Oklahoma City law firm McAfee & Taft. He is a graduate of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School and Washington and Lee University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He received his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma. Ross was appointed to the Board of Regents for The University of Oklahoma by Governor Kevin Stitt in March 2022 and is a member of the following Board of Directors: Freedom Center of Oklahoma City, Greater Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, Oklahoma City Airport Trust, Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Oklahoma City Museum of Art, Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, and Oklahoma State Fair. Bob has received the following awards: 2011 Plaza District Association’s Urban Pioneer Award, 2012 OKC Beautiful Mayor’s Award for Distinguished Service, 2013 Oklahoma Center for Non-Profits’ Visionary Impact Award, 2015 United Way of Central Oklahoma’s John Rex Community Builder Award, 2018 YMCA Service to the Youth Award, 2019 OKC Friday’s OKCityan of the Year, 2023 Boys and Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County Aubrey K. McClendon Lifetime Achievement Award, and the 2023 E.C. Joullian Distinguished Citizen award. Bob is married to Heather Ross and has a daughter, Lilly, and a son, Frank.
A native of Muskogee and third-generation Oklahoman with over 30 years’ experience in the media industry, David brings valuable business expertise and expansive knowledge of the state’s media and multimedia landscape to the family-owned organization. Most importantly, he is dedicated to furthering Griffin’s reputation as Oklahoma’s most reliable, trustworthy and informative media company.
David’s grandfather and father founded and led what is now Griffin Media and informally introduced him to the world of local television. He formally joined the company in 1990 working in various roles and was promoted to general manager shortly after. After the acquisition of KOTV from Belo in 2000, he became CEO of what is now Griffin Media and Griffin Investments.
David is dedicated to developing, growing, and investing in Oklahoma. He serves as a board member for numerous nonprofits and industry organizations including the Inasmuch Foundation, the Kirkpatrick Foundation, the Westminster School Board of Trustees, the CBS Affiliate Board and the National Association of Broadcasters. Additionally, he is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and frequently contributes to and supports various charitable causes aimed at cultivating and improving his beloved home state.
In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, attending his kids’ football and soccer games, cooking, fly fishing and seeking new adventures.
Andrew is the President and Co-founder of Roff Oil & Gas, Ltd. Roff Oil & Gas is a family owned energy exploration and development company. Roff Oil & Gas has developed several fields in the northern Midland Basin of Texas, proving up reserves for sale to larger companies. Roff Oil & Gas continues to own properties in the northern Midland Basin and Oklahoma. Andrew is active in all phases of the company’s business and manages its portfolio of private equity investments.
Prior to founding Roff Oil & Gas with his brother and father, Andrew was Vice Chairman of PetroUnited Terminals, Inc., a bulk liquid storage company with terminals in Bayport, Texas and Sunshine, Louisiana. Andrew has also worked as Manager of Corporate Finance for Pennzoil Company and as a metals and foreign exchange trader.
In addition to his commitment to the Inasmuch Foundation, Andrew is a lifetime board member of the St. Paul’s United Methodist Foundation of Houston and has served on the President’s Council of Wesleyan University. He also sat on the Board of Directors of the Beacon of Downtown Houston, a day shelter that also provides services to aid the homeless in getting permanent housing. The Beacon is a partner in the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, which has reduced homelessness by over 50%.
Andrew has a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Andrew’s favorite pastime is spending time with his wife, Debbie, their five adult children and two sons-in-laws.
Patrick Rooney is from Muskogee Oklahoma and is a life-long community banker. After stints at Bank of Oklahoma, Citizens Bank of Muskogee and Charter National in Oklahoma City, he put together a group of investors to acquire First National Bank of Oklahoma in 2022. Mr. Rooney is currently serving as Executive Chairman and controlling shareholder of the Bank. He also serves as Chairman of the Education and Employment Ministry (TEEM), NewView Oklahoma and the Oklahoma Student Loan Authority (OSLA). He is a board member of the Inasmuch Foundation, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), Legatus Oklahoma City and Fortune Club. Other community activities include serving as an advisory board member of Jesus House and a community advisor of MetaFund. Mr. Rooney is a former trustee of OKC MAPS for Kids, the United Way and is a past president and Life Board Member of the Last Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Rooney has received numerous community service awards. The most notable of these include The Leadership in Transformation award from TEEM, The President’s Award and Community Service Award from The Rotary Club of Oklahoma City, The Distinguished Citizens Award from Last Frontier Council Boy Scouts of America, The Paragon award from Leadership OKC and The Distinguished Service Award from OMRF. Mr. Rooney has a B.A. in English and Economics from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He and his wife, Marianne, have three adult sons, Patrick, Turner and Matthew, and eight grandchildren.
As chief executive officer at the National Geographic Society, Dr. Jill Tiefenthaler oversees the development and implementation of the Society’s mission-driven work and programmatic agenda. She leads our global community of Explorers: scientists, innovators, educators, and storytellers—in our mission to illuminate and protect the wonder of our world. Jill sits on the Society’s Board of Trustees and the board of National Geographic Partners.
Before joining the National Geographic Society, Jill spent nine years as the president of Colorado College. During this time, she helped set a new direction for the school, executed the most ambitious fundraising campaign in the college’s history, and developed and implemented a comprehensive strategic plan that expanded and cultivated an engaged and globally connected academic community. She developed a Campus Master Plan, executed an alliance to make the world-class Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center part of the college, and led the college’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality. She also drove significant increases in diversity among the faculty and student body and led the campus community in an external review of racism at the college that resulted in an Antiracism Implementation Plan.

Sarah Roberts serves as Vice President of Programs at Inasmuch Foundation where she has been employed for over 20 years. The Foundation was founded by Edith Kinney Gaylord in 1982 and provides grants to enrich the quality of life and strengthen organizations to benefit people and communities. Inasmuch Foundation’s grantmaking approach focuses on partnership and collaboration to inspire lasting change in Oklahoma City by focusing on these specific areas: community and civic engagement, journalism, education and human services. The Foundation has placed emphasis on forging public/private partnerships to fund evidence-based interventions for vulnerable children and families as well as attracting much needed federal investments to Oklahoma City. Examples of a few successful public/private partnerships are Community CARES Partners, Key to Home, Metafund Impact Accelerator, Oklahoma City Educare, Oklahoma Clearinghouse for Early Childhood Success, Palomar and ReMerge.
Sarah was previously an instructor with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System in Tennessee where she taught 5th grade. Sarah is a graduate of Bishop McGuinness High School (1992) in Oklahoma City and Sweet Briar College (1996) in Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a teaching certificate. Sarah has been married to Hayden Roberts for more than 25 years. Hayden works for Oklahoma State University. They live in Oklahoma City and have two sons, Jackson who is 21 years old and Owen who is 15 years old.
Julie Jividen currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Inasmuch Foundation. Julie has been employed at Inasmuch Foundation for over 19 years. Julie is a graduate of Woodward High School and the University of Oklahoma, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration. She also holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma City University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Julie currently serves as President-elect at Wes Welker Foundation and on the finance committee for Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma. Previously Julie was the finance committee chairperson for Quail Springs United Methodist Church. Julie is married to Spencer Jividen. Spencer is a Professional Land Surveyor and small business owner in their hometown of Edmond, Oklahoma. They have four children: Bryson, Ryder, Maysen and Layla.
Tyler Tokarczyk is a senior program officer for Inasmuch Foundation. His work primarily focuses on journalism, education, and workforce development. Tyler serves on the board of directors for ReMerge of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma Public School Resource Center, The Verge OKC, and Oklahoma Media Center. Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys traveling with his wife and young daughter, and aspires to visit every Major League Baseball stadium. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York (Go Bills!) he majored in journalism at Washington and Lee University and earned his MBA at the University of Oklahoma.
Richard is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with over 20 years of expertise in tax planning, compliance, and financial statement preparation. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer for Inasmuch and has transitioned to Senior Advisor. Richard earned his CPA certification in 1985 and CFP designation in 1999. He was a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs, where he also served as Secretary of the Oklahoma City Chapter. Richard is married to Lori and they have two beautiful children.
Anne Hedrick is the Grants Manager for Inasmuch Foundation. In this role, she manages all aspects of the Foundation's grantmaking process from application through final reporting. Anne also coordinates the Inasmuch Foundation Community Fellowship and assists with the Foundation’s Community & Civic Engagement grantmaking. Prior to joining Inasmuch Foundation, Anne spent 13 years as an Academic Counselor at the University of Oklahoma, most recently as Director of the OU Scholars Program for which she received the Provost’s Outstanding Academic Advising Administrator Award. Anne received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Psychology from Drexel University. When not at the office, Anne enjoys reading, interior design, and spending time with her husband Scott and their goldendoodle Bennett.
Steven Sylke is the Controller at Inasmuch Foundation, based in Oklahoma City. With a strong background in finance and accounting, Steven plays a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the organization. Steven is known for their meticulous attention to detail and dedication to ensuring financial accuracy and transparency. They work closely with various departments to streamline financial processes and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Steven's expertise and commitment make them an invaluable asset to the Inasmuch Foundation team.
Brittney Taggart is the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Programs at Inasmuch Foundation where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, she provides comprehensive support that helps drive the organization’s mission forward. Before joining Inasmuch Foundation in 2021, Brittney earned her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma and spent 11 years in the restaurant industry.
Outside of her professional commitments, Brittney is an avid runner, and enjoys training for half marathons. She has a passion for traveling and enjoys exploring new places with her husband, Caleb, and their two-year-old daughter, Ellie.
Caitlin is the Executive Assistant to the CEO and CFO, where she plays a crucial role in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring seamless communication within the organization. She also is responsible for handling communications for Inasmuch. Before joining the team, Caitlin worked as a bailiff for a juvenile judge for five years. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications from the University of Central Oklahoma. Caitlin loves solving puzzles, enjoys her daily Starbucks fix, and loves spending time with her Chiweenie, Sammy. She is married to Bryan, and they are excitedly expecting their first child, a little girl, in February.

Brad Davey, equity owner and Managing Director, is a senior acquisitions officer at Clarion Partners. Based in Dallas, he has acquisition and development responsibilities for the central region of the U.S. Brad has over 18 years of experience acquiring and managing industrial, multi-family, retail and office assets. During his career, he has participated in the acquisition and disposition of industrial, multi-family and office assets totaling over $3 billion. Brad joined Clarion Partners in 2013 and began working in the industry in 2006. Before his real estate career, Brad was an investment banking associate at Merrill Lynch and a Captain in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps.

Katherine Patch is a Director on BlackRock's US Institutional Family Office, Healthcare, Foundations, and Endowments team. She partners with families and foundations in the Central US on investment solutions across all asset classes.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2018, Katherine was a Senior Investment Director at Cambridge Associates, an investment advisory firm serving institutional investors. Previously, she was an Associate on the investment team of CIC Partners, a Dallas-based middle-market private equity firm, where she evaluated direct equity investments and assisted portfolio companies with growth initiatives. She began her career in New York as an Analyst in the Consumer/Retail Group of Goldman Sachs’s Investment Banking Division.
Katherine graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University, with degrees in Finance and Accounting, and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She serves as an Investment Committee member for Inasmuch Foundation and as an Advisory Committee Member for Chicago-based Invest for Kids.
