Improving the Quality of Life in Colorado Springs

Inasmuch Foundation’s history with Colorado Springs dates back to our founding in 1982. Even before Inasmuch Foundation was established, our founder Edith Kinney Gaylord, had a deep connection and history of giving in Colorado Springs. Edith attended Colorado College and was a Charter Trustee from 1975 until her passing in 2001. Through her generosity, the foundation has granted more than $23 million in Colorado Springs, including $15 million to Colorado College.

Inasmuch Foundation’s three-year strategic plan outlines a shift in funding to Colorado Springs. Effective July 1, 2021 the foundation will refine its focus in Colorado Springs with one annual grant cycle. The application deadline will be August 15th and organizations will be invited to apply in July each year. In an effort to be respectful of time, we are currently not accepting unsolicited applications. If you believe your organization fits the goals and vision listed below for the foundation’s Colorado Springs grantmaking, please contact Tyler Tokarczyk.
